What’s the difference between Korean BBQ and Hot Pot?
Korean BBQ is cooked on a tabletop grill, while Hot Pot ingredients cook in a simmering pot of flavorful broth. Both let you choose what goes in, cook it right at the table and customize every bite.
At KPOT locations, you can enjoy Korean BBQ and Hot Pot together. Because sometimes choosing is overrated.
I’ve never had Korean BBQ or Hot Pot. What should I order first?
For Korean BBQ beginners, Beef Bulgogi, Prime Brisket and Pork Belly are great places to start. For Hot Pot, choose a broth that matches the flavors and spice level you love, then start adding meats, seafood, veggies, tofu and noodles.
How do I know when my Korean BBQ is ready to eat?
Cooking time depends on what you’re grilling and how thick it is, so there isn’t one magic number. Cook raw meats and seafood thoroughly before eating, and use the separate utensils provided for handling raw and cooked foods.
Not sure? Ask a KPOT team member. We’re happy to help while you concentrate on perfecting your dipping sauce.
How do I know when my Hot Pot ingredients are ready?
Thinly sliced meats can cook quickly in simmering broth, while vegetables, noodles, seafood and other Hot Pot favorites may need more or less time depending on what you’ve added. Make sure meats and seafood are thoroughly cooked before digging in.
And remember: adding raw ingredients can temporarily cool your broth, so give your Hot Pot time to return to a simmer before assuming everything is ready.
When in doubt, your KPOT team member is always there to help.
What can I put in Hot Pot?
Build yours with meats, seafood, vegetables, tofu, noodles and other add-ins from the KPOT Hot Pot menu. Mix, match and experiment until you find your perfect combination.
There are no bonus points for keeping it simple.
Can I have Korean BBQ and Hot Pot at the same time?
Why choose between Korean BBQ and Hot Pot when you can have both? Every KPOT brings the two experiences together at one table, so you can grill your Korean BBQ favorites while your Hot Pot simmers right alongside them.
It’s what makes KPOT different: other restaurants specialize in Korean BBQ or Hot Pot. We built the KPOT experience around both.
